With over 30 years of successfully coaching and managing dnta, I have created a structure that provides all ages and abilities with the chance to pursue their passion for tennis.

With the pathways that have been put in place this allows the student to pursue their tennis whether that be on a social level or through to professional ranks.

The skills I have developed over my career have enabled me to create and deliver a unique program for all ages.

Playing History

As a player I was ranked no.2 in Victoria ( behind Pat Cash) for 5 years
Dominated state grade pennant for 5 years undefeated at no.1 (34 consecutive wins)
Captain of the Dingley TC state grade team state, winning titles in 1990,91 & 92
Victorian Hardcourt Champion
ATP ranking 583
Top 10 Australian ranking

Professional Team Manager & Coaching History

3 times consecutively and current Tennis Victoria Premier League Women's Champions
Coach of the mighty Liston Seagulls undefeated for 3 years
Champions in two premier league state titles
Champions in one state ATL title and inaugural ATL (Asia Pacific Title) National title

As a player, captain and coach/manager I have organized and managed the two most successful teams in Tennis Victoria history. As captain and no.1 player of the Dingley team that won the 3 consecutive state grade titles in the nineties to recently forming, coaching and managing the Liston Seagulls.

Our story so far

For over 30 years Dane Nebel's Tennis Academy (dnta) has been a leader of tennis coaching services provided in Melbourne

A look back at what we have achieved

In 1988 a group of just 25 students were the start of dnta at Liston
We have gone from strength to strength ... in 2019 we can boast over 500 students
There is over 100 junior coaching students playing competition weekly
We have coached players that went on to become Wimbledon Men's Singles runners-up, Australian Open Men's Doubles Quarter-Finalist
ATL National Title 2013, ATL Victoria Conference Title 2012, Victorian Premier League Title's 2011 & 2010, Tennis Victoria Premier League Women's 3x champions
A number of National & State Junior Titles
A high percentage of members that use dnta as their preferred coach
We continue to have an active involvement in the community and donate regularly to community fundraisers (racquets, coaching clinics etc)
